Tug Of War

The Tug of War is a gruelling contest of strength and ability. With the Sugarloaf Mountain looming in the background it provides the perfect backdrop to undoubtedly one of the most popular spectacles at the Festival each year. There is always a great atmosphere at this event and huge support for all teams involved.

We are looking for amateur Tug of War teams to pull at the event. Teams consist of eight men or five women. Get your club, colleagues or gym crew together for what will prove to be an amazing competition on the day. Pitch your GAA club against your local rivals or your local Rugby or football club!

Wicklow Wolf brewery are sponsoring our Tug o War 2016 Competition and are offering a case of their delicious craft beer for all members of the winning Team!! So get your team together and see have you got what it takes to ‘pull’ that prize home!!
